Qld: Tafe teachers threaten walkout

TAFE teachers in Queensland are considering industrial action over being denied the
right to negotiate their own enterprise agreement with the state government.

Queensland Teachers Union TAFE organiser TONY CHRISTINSON says TAFE teachers and tutors
object to being included in a core public service agreement.

He says poor policy decisions by both federal and state governments have caused much
uncertainty about the future of TAFE education.
