Learn about care for old treasures.(Capital Region)

WATERFORD - The Waterford Historical Museum and Cultural Center is offering a workshop series called "Caring for Your Private Collections."

This year the workshops address caring for military items, dolls and old homes. Participanst will learn about protecting their valued items from such things as light, moisture, temperature, nicotine and insects.

The two-hour workshops will be held on three weekend afternoons at the museum at 2 Museum Lane. Each workshop will be conducted by a specialist.
